Chef Margaret Alvis will be collaborating with North Texas Burners Without Borders for a charity event on Saturday, Sept. 7th where she'll be slinging a fried chicken version of her katsu sando from Food Network's Chopped! Remember that slaw that the judges hailed as "perfection?" OH YEAH, IT'S HAPPENING!!

This Burners Without Borders event benefits the Texas Panhandle Wildfire Fund. The cities of Canadian and Sanford were hit hard back in March, with wildfire engulfing over 1,700 square miles of land and forcing mandatory evacuations.
